We acquired our first Register Texas Longhorn Cattle in about 1985 starting with just a handful.  Like most people our herd had grown over the years in both size and quality.  We've maintained a close association with our close friends Dr. Joe and Cynthia Graham of Mi Tierra Longhorns in Joplin Missouri and have a significant Mi Tierra influence in our herd.  This includes bulls like Mi Tierra Black Jack(by Jet Jockey), Dixie Creale(by Emperor), Shadow Rula (by The Shadow), and Mi Tierra Toro Negro (by Mi Tierra Cinco De Mayo out of Overwhelmer). 

Our current herd sires include Superb (by Super Bowl), Rebel EOT 471 (by Mike Bowman's bull EOT Kanstar), SDR Rio Bravo (by J.P. Rio Grande), Mi Tierra Toro (by Shadow Rula), J.R. Maverick(by KC Just Respect) and Hunts Respected Transition(by Hunts Command Respect).  We favor the larger frame longhorn cattle with the traditional Texas Twist.  The Brazos Rose Ranch is located in central Texas just south of Waco along the Brazos River.
